da dobrowin: Newcastle United fans are no strangers to disappointing transfer windows.
da bet7: The North-East outfit have struggled financially in the market due to the lack of funds being offered by club owner Mike Ashley.
During the last two summer windows, manager Rafael Benitez has openly spoken of his frustration.
One signing, though, has been warmly welcomed by the fans due to his impressive early outings this season.
Fabian Schar was recruited from Deportivo La Coruna, and since penning his name on the dotted line at St James’ Park, he has made just one Premier League outing for the club.
The defender will be pushing for a regular spot in Benitez’s side and he is likely to have caught the eye while on international duty.

On Twitter, some Newcastle fans raved about Schar’s performance.
