Robbie Keane expects to leave Tottenham before the transfer deadline the Guardian reports.
The Republic of Ireland striker has been frozen out at White Hart Lane and knows his time is up in North London.
Keane has quashed reports that he will only move to a London club stating he’ll move anywhere for regular first team football.
He said: “No, I’ll move. I don’t know why this story keeps coming out that I want to stay in London. I’ve never said that. I’m quite happy to go anywhere. For me, it’s just about playing regular football and if that’s outside London I’m not too bothered.”
He has been linked with several Premier League clubs but remains a Spurs player but is remaining patient with three weeks left before the transfer window slams shut.
“It’s probably likely that I will be going but I can’t really answer where to at the moment.” He told the Guardian.
“There’s obviously a lot of speculation but there’s still a couple of weeks to go and we’ll see what happens.
“I haven’t turned down anything. I think there’s a few people talking to the clubs but that’s all I can really say at the moment.” He added
Keane will win his 109th cap for Ireland when they face Croatia in a friendly with his club future remaining very much.
He has fallen out of favour with Harry Redknapp and is now behind Jermain Defoe, Peter Crouch and Roman Pavlyuchenko in the pecking order.
Newcastle and Sunderland have been credited with an interest in him this summer with Bolton also said to be considering a move.
